木工加工棚的目的是保護施工現(xiàn)場的施工人員，用鋼管作為支撐框架，用竹簽或竹籃板或廢棄模板作為防砸，或者用高壓線保護穿過防護棚的東西。一般雙層保護是為了增加系數(shù)。鋼筋防護棚和通道均為防護棚，部分防護棚建在塔吊覆蓋的辦公生活區(qū)。防護棚是施工過程中操作人員或人行的必經(jīng)通道，過往人員的防護棚為雙層。從懸挑腳手架的懸挑開始，每隔十米設(shè)置一個防護棚，可以更好的保證防護棚下行走人員的。在施工過程中，建造防護棚時應(yīng)注意防護措施。施工人員應(yīng)根據(jù)施工要求進行施工，現(xiàn)場混凝土攪拌機、卷揚機棚、鋼筋棚、木棚，部分出入口和現(xiàn)場廁所應(yīng)設(shè)置木工防護棚。

建造和拆除木工防護棚時，應(yīng)指定專人指揮。管理者應(yīng)注意眼、腿、口，采取有效的防護措施，應(yīng)對危險情況，確保人員。在雨天和大風(fēng)天氣，應(yīng)暫停防護棚的搭設(shè)和拆除，并檢查和維護防護棚的質(zhì)量。防護棚搭設(shè)完成后，經(jīng)專職員驗收合格后方可投入使用。技術(shù)交底應(yīng)在搭設(shè)和拆除水平保護前進行。
